Looking at the photos i know you are little bit excited but don’t let those looks deceive you.
Having never heard of this brand before and i took a risk to go for this as it was under my budget (₹700, $16) and it was visually appealing. Once i laid my hands on it i went straight for the kill and before i spill the beans let me help you explore the headphone.
The build quality of the headphone is pretty good with glossy plastic sliders at both the end of the headband. The Headband is made up of rigid plastic leathered on top and cushioned at the bottom for comfort. Humongous Ear-pads are both treat for the eyes and extremely comforting and is great for a long outing with the headphone. The cord is roughly 1.5 meters long and it comes with 3.5mm jack which you can connect it to virtually all of the devices we own these days.
So here is the real deal if you are an audiophile forget this headphone because you’ll be extremely disappointed and it is obvious you should go for headphones more than ₹3000. But as this is a tight budget nice looking headphone, this is what you can expect and what you’ll find on the box.
SPECS:
Speaker Dimension: 40mm Diver Unit.
Frequency Range : 20Hz-20KHz.
Impedance : 32 Ohm.
Sensitivity : 116db.
Let me begin by stating the sound quality of the headphone, it is better than the crappy nokia headphone that i have. Mid’s are good, Low’s and High’s are not that bad to be honest, but the loudness(sensitivity) is what disappointed me, it is below par. But if you are a nerd and use it on pc’s and laptops, you can use a Sound filter to amplify the sound and get the best of the headphone. I used Volume normalize filter in FFDShow Audio Decoder for The Eye and increasing the volume to 150% gave a decent movie experience. On the other hand the puffy ear-pads help you block external sound but not so helpful in leaking it.
Verdict: Not for audiophiles, perfect for movie buffs and video chatters, cheap & comfortable.
Rating: 2.5/5.
